What Investigators Found
The primary shooting scene was believed to have taken place adjacent to Cottage Way close to the Home Depot store at the 2200 block of Howe Ave. Detectives located further ballistic evidence in the form of shell casings along Cottage Way. Round impacts were noted in the wrought iron fence adjacent to the nearby Home Depot. The physical evidence pointed to that at least one of the shooters had been discharging rounds toward the south from Cottage Way in the direction of the Home Depot. That Home Depot location was placed on lockdown as a precaution. CSI units alongside detectives remained on scene throughout the night.
Detainees in Solano County
Reports confirmed via scanner audio showed that a Kia connected to the shooting was pulled over in Solano County. Four people were detained. Sheriff's units were en route to collect those detained to pick up those detained for questioning. Video reviewed at the scene showed that two shooters had been involved.
